I upload very frequently on there, where I show awesome makeup products and looks that I've created on clients and myself. Once I've finished college I will be even MORE frequent on there where I will be doing cool makeup looks, whether the main focus is on the eyes or lips!

My Skincare Routine!

Phwarrrrrhhhh long time no see! College has been super busy so I did take a bit of a break from blogging just so that I could hurry up and complete my course, just know that once I've finished college in just over a month, I'll be back to full time blogging, wheeeyyyy!!!

I also just wanted to quickly mention that I will be doing a blog post about my 2 year Makeup course experience and if it's worth going to learn about makeup, so you can all look out for that!

Background of my skin:
I do have very sensitive, dry skin, and it is a bit problematic, I do get the ocassional hormonal spots, however I have been left with dark redy-brown blemishes from my spots, that I've had for nearly 3 years now, which I'm trying to clear up.

Personally I like keeping my skincare routine simple, I hate using a bunch of products, however once you keep on reading you'll probably see that I use quite a few products, but don't worry, I have an explanation as to when I use these products, I do not use them all at once.

I really do urge everyone to find a skin care routine that's best suited for them because it really does help the way in which your skin looks and the way your makeup applies. I used to be so lazy where I wouldn't even moisturise at night and when I'd apply my foundation the next day my skin would just be so dry and dull, but since I've stepped up and put in more effort, the dry skin has gone (which was really excessive dry skin that I couldn't get rid of until I found these two exfoliators) and my skin glows a lot more now as well.

The Products I Use:

Behold, I do not use all these products, underneath I'll be explaining when I'd use them, and I'll be placing *** next to the items that I use daily.

- St. Ives Apricot Scrub - this product along with the Pink Grapefruit scrub, I used to use when I was younger, and I really loved them, so I thought I'd bring them back into my life. I use this product once a week because it's a very gritty scrub and it's a lot harsher (in the best way possible) than the pink scrub, this scrub I feel gets off any excess dry skin that I have, which is amazing.

- Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub - I use this product once a week as well, I leave a gap between using both scrubs otherwise it'll be too much for my skin, you don't want to over exfoliate your skin, so I make sure to leave space in between the uses. This scrub is a lot gentler.

- Simple Micellar Cleanising Water *** - THIS IS HANDS DOWN my holy grail product, I buy mine from Savers because it's £1.99 which is a lot cheaper than buying it from the drugstore as they charge around £5...NOPE...This product cleans my skin so well, and it doesn't have any harsh chemicals and it's perfect for my sensitive skin, it removes my makeup so well, it's just an all round amazing product. I recommend this so much! I use this product in the morning, and to remove my makeup and later at night to clean my skin.
P.S. I literally have five backups of this because I love it that much...

- La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + *** - I use this product for my blemishes, I haven't seen a drastic improvement as I've just started using it in my routine again, so I'm planning on using it until it runs out, however I can see that it has lightened them slightly, which is a start! I use this in the morning before applying my makeup, and at night before I go to bed.

- Bio-Oil *** - I use this product along with the La Roche-Posay cream, to help lighten my blemishes, which this product also claims to do, I've been using it for a few months now and it has helped to even out my discolouration and it's also helped with lightening my blemishes. I use this product just at night, after letting my La Roche-Posay cream sink into my skin.

- Freederm Spot Treatment - I use this product on those pesky spots that seem to take forever to go down. I really recommend this for people with acne prone skin or just anyone who gets spots. This item creates a little cap over the spot which dries it out, and the spot disappear within a few days, sometimes even just over a day, it's awesome. I'll apply this product RIGHT after cleaning my face, before applying any creams to my skin, so that this product can target my spots first. I do not use this every day, I only use it if a spot is bothering me.

- Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil - I've done a review on this product on my blog already, so click here if you'd like to read it! I only use this when my skin is super dry, like in the winter season. I just apply this at night. I have not been using it for a while as my skin hasn't been too dry, but this is my go to product for when my skin is very dry.

- Simple Rich Replenishing Moisturiser *** - Another Simple product! I am a huge fan of all of Simple's products just because they are so kind to my skin haha, this moisturiser absorbs into my skin so quickly, leaving my skin feeling smooth and moisturised. I just love this product, I have no words...I use this in the morning and night.

- Paw Paw Moisturising Balm *** - LASTLY, is an amazing, moisturising product that I use on my lips just whenever throughout the day, it makes your lips smooth and it makes them feel moisturised for long hours and it's also a multi-use product!

The Difference Between The Scrubs:

As you can see, the grains in the Pink Grapefruit scrub are barely noticeable, you can barely feel them, they're a tad bit finer that sugar, this scrub is great for a light, gentle exfoliation. Now, for the Apricot scrub you can see the grains are so much thicker, apparently these grains are from crushed apricot seeds!! I love this exfoliator because it really does remove my dry skin which clings to my skin, especially on my cheeks and sides of my nose, it's VERY irritating...
