Hello lovelies, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Today I'm going to be doing a blog post on some brow products that I have come across! Brows have become such an important topic in today's society, so I think we should all work our magic and aim to having fleeky brows!

Billion Dollar Brows is a professional cosmetic company that sell both on their site and also on the Boots site. I'm going to be reviewing 2 of their kits; "Billion Dollar Brows 60 Seconds To Beautiful Brows" & "Billion Dollar Brows Best Sellers Kit"
!!!Billion Dollar Brows is cruelty free & vegan friendly!!!

This little kit comes with the Billion Dollar Brows Brow Brush and Brow Powder, I have the shade "Taupe" as it's a great match for my brow hairs, I have dark brown eyebrows, so if you have dark brown eyebrows then Taupe would be a great shade for you. This powder has another 3 shades in "Blonde/Light Brown & Raven"

I've always been a firm user of brow powders, just because I feel it gives such a natural effect to the eyebrows without looking false or drawn on. I really love this set, it's so perfect for beginners, the brush is amazing, the angled side is thin which is FANTASTIC, there are hardly any brow brushes that have a thin brush to apply the product, having a thin brush allows you to be really precise when applying any brow product, so I really love this brow brush - the brow spoolie on the other end is also handy, I have very unruly brows so a brow brush is always needed in my collection!
The brow powder is an ashy shade of brows which is fabulous, because a lot of brow powder have redy tones in them and it's not so flattering, but as you can see in the picture above, the brow powder is an ashy shade, there are no signs of red tones, therefore it makes the powder look very natural.

This kit retails for £24 from Boots: - - - - you can also buy these products separately from the Boots site & from the Billion Dollar Brows site.

This kit is such a good idea for a Christmas present or just any present in general. It comes with a brow pencil that's universal so it suits any HAIR COLOUR! It also comes with a brow concealer and highlighter, a smudge brush and brow gel.

The brow pencil actually shocked me, it turned out really natural, I've always been scared to use brow pencils because I've always felt you've had less control over them, but I really enjoyed this one and the outcome it had, the colour is great also, it matches perfectly! I then used the concealer and highlighter, I absolutely love the highlighter on this, I've never gone to the extent of highlighting my brow bone but this highlighter is so beautiful and natural looking and creamy, I am actually in love with it! I used the smudge brush to blend out the concealer and the highlighter, I found the brush was really easy to use as it curves around my brow shape really well and just generally makes it easy to use.
Out of this whole kit, the brow gel is my favourite product - I have REALLY long brow hairs that just end up going all over the place by the end of the day, but this miracle in a bottle kept them in place!

This kit retails for £49.50 from Boots: - - - - - you can also buy these products separately from the Boots site & from the Billion Dollar Brows site.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope this brow post helped you browfanatics!
Billion Dollar Brows are also hosting a GIVEAWAY to win the second kit that I reviewed in this blog post, you can click HERE to enter!

Current Favourites!

Hello! Today I'm going to be sharing my current makeup favourites that I've had for quite a while now and have been loving so much recently!

The products:

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics: It's probably no surprise that this product is YET AGAIN in another blog post. I'd definitely have to say this is hands down my favourite eyeshadow palette. Even though the colours are rather basic colours, they are still really unique shades. I personally love matte eyeshadows as appose to shimmery eyeshadows. This palette just does it all for me, you can create any look that you like with this palette whether it's a day eye makeup to a dramatic smokey eye. I've basically been using this palette non stop since I got it for Christmas, NO WORD OF A LIE.
Lanolips 101 Ointment: I have a really difficult time finding lip balms that are genuinely good and moisturising. A lot of lip products tend to dry out your lips more, so I've started opting for a thicker formulation, like this product. It moisturizes and smooths my lips instantly, and keeps them that way for quite a while!

Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner: This is such an amazing product. I like to use this to do a little flick on the outer corner of my eyes and I also like to push this product into my upper lash line just to line it! I love how pigmented this product is and it's incredibly affordable.

L'Oreal Color Riche Matte "640 Erotique": I definitely have a thing for matte makeup products, this lip product is the exact meaning of a "my lip colour but better", it's a darker brown-pink nude, and it's surprisingly moisturising too which sometimes matte lipsticks aren't!

Cargo Eyeshadow "Pasadena": This is a bit of a weird eyeshadow colour huh? But that's exactly why I love it! I love putting this in my crease with a bit of Frisk from the Naked Basics 2 Palette, and this creates a beautiful warmth in the crease. (I then put the colour Cover all over my lid and this creates a really pretty wearable smokey eye.) This shadow has a slight sheen to it, but it's more on the matte side and the sheen isn't very noticeable at all.

NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation "SMP01 Ivory": I bought this product whilst I was on my holiday in Cyprus in August and I've been inlove with it till this day. I've never really liked the feeling of foundation on my skin, it's just a weird pet peeve of mine, I just hate knowing it's on my skin? (don't ask, I can't even answer it myself!) So I thought I would try out a powder foundation instead, so I just bought it there and then. My skin isn't perfect so I do use my MAC Studio Fix Concealer in NW20 on my under eyes and any blemishes and then I pat this powder on my skin and it's just amazing, it has really lovely coverage. You can built this coverage up, if you wear this powder alone the coverage will be fairly light coverage, but I wear concealer under so the coverage looks like a medium coverage.
*You can buy this product off of Amazon for under £10*

High-end Collective Haul!!!

I stocked up on my favourite concealer of all time which is the MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW20. I picked up two because it's the only concealer I use and I go through concealer rafther quickly because I have quite a bit of darkness in the inner corners of my eyes. These concealers are £15.50 but I went to a MAC event yesterday where all there products had a 35% discount off of them.

Kryolan 3 Well Eye Shadow Palette ~ the colours: "Rosewood", "Love", "Magenta"
I don't actually have any colours like these in my collection, and these colours really stood out to me because I could just imagine a really pretty look that I could create with these shades with a black winged eyeliner. I believe these eyeshadows are £7.99 each, but for the palette and the 3 shades it's £17.50. I did get 20% off as I'm a makeup student so it came to £14, which was rather amazing. These colours are amazingly pigmented and they're all matte.

Too Faced Color Bomb! "Coral Pop"  ~ I picked this up from TK Maxx for £5.99!

MAC Pigment in "Blue Brown" £10, MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in "Coral Bliss" £15.50 & MAC Matte Lipstick in "Diva" £15.50
A little side note: this Blue Brown pigment is the most stunning colour I have ever seen! Like always, the camera NEVER picks up how beautiful it is, it has a mixture of red, brown, blue, green and purple in it, you can see so many different colours in this pigment from many different angles, it's sooo stunning!

NEW: Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer

I would go as far as to say that I'm pretty much a concealer junkie, so when I saw this concealer flashing itself at me in Superdrug, I was instantly drawn to it - no word of a lie.

This concealer retails for £5.49 at Superdrug.

★ Full coverage
★ Conceals under eyes amazingly well
★ Brightens under eyes, great for if you have darkness

★ The formula of the concealer clings onto dry patches, make sure your skin/under eyes are well moisturised before use
★ I have the second to darkest shade, yet I still feel that I could go for the darkest shade because it brightens my under-eyes a bit too much

This concealer is a thick textured, full coverage concealer. Overall, I have mixed thoughts on this concealer. Some sections of my skin are quite dry at the moment, and the concealer just doesn't look nice on the dry areas, so I've avoided using it until my skin becomes a bit more hydrated again.

I found that this product concealed fantastically under my eyes, I naturally have darkness in the inner corners and inner underneath section of my eyes, and this product did a great job at concealing and brightening, I did find that it brightened a bit too much for my liking, so I might try the next shade up. It did crease a little bit under my eyes, most likely because it's such a thick consistency. If you like the bright under-eyes/highlighting technique then you may really like this product, I personally like the more subtle concealing technique.

This concealer is definitely worth trying out, just make sure to choose the right shade because I'm always the lightest shade when it comes to base make-up, so I'm quite surprised that I'm the darkest shade in this concealer range. There are 3 different shades in this whole range.

Have you tried out this product, what are your thoughts on it? If not, what's your favourite concealer?

The Brush Egg

This little gadget really attracted me for a number of reasons; I'm lazy when it comes to cleaning my brushes and my fingers always feel like they're going to freeze off when I'm cleaning them. Now the best part of this little tool is that it's £1.38. Say whaaattt?!

As you can see from the picture above, it's like a little glove for your fingers. The ridges of the glove cleanse your brushes very well. I'm usually left with beigy-stains of foundation on my brushes (when I clean the brushes with my hands) but ever since I've been using this, it's made my brushes look so clean!

As you can see, the brush hairs look like how they did when I first bought them. It's incredible. It's also a great travelling product because it's so small and compact and it's also a really quick way to deep cleanse your brushes, which can usually take a lot of time. I really do recommend this product, especially if you hand wash your brushes, sometimes the tap water can get too cold/too hot and it can be rather unbearable, this little glove keeps your fingers nice and warm, haha!

The Best Foundations

Hello lovelies! I'm doing a post today for my dry skinned, oily skinned, normal skinned and combination skinned followers, so this post is essentially for everyone. I've chosen my two favourite foundations of all time, and I thought I'd share my thoughts and opinions with you. I chose a matte and a dewy foundation, the matte one would be great for oily/combination and normal skin and the dewy foundation would be brilliant for dry/combination and normal skin!

RRP: - L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation £6.99
 Bourjois Healthy Mix £9.99

L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation

My thoughts: This foundation is fairly inexpensive considering the fact that L'Oreal products can sometimes be rather overpriced for a drugstore brand and also that this foundation is like high-end quality! If you know me, you know that I love my dewy foundations. I'm all for that JLo skin! Never in a million years did I ever think I'd buy a matte foundation, but my gosh I am obsessed with this product. I have the odd few hyperpigmentation marks left behind from some hormonal spots, and no product has really been able to cover them well, but this product does a great job at covering them up without having to apply concealer on top.

The look/feel of this product: It feels very lightweight on the skin but gives very full coverage whilst still making your skin look like skin, but better! The picture below shows an exact representation of my thoughts/feelings of this foundation. The shade of this product is a great match to my skin, it blends in really nicely, which I love, I hate the look of unnatural foundation.
I believe there are six shades to this foundation, there's not a huge range, so that's quite a disappointment. But hopefully if this foundation becomes a good seller they'll come out with more shades like they have with True Match.
There is no scent to this product.

The packaging: Is very sleek and compact, so it's great for travelling. The packaging isn't a glass bottle, so that's always a plus, knowing that it won't smash in your makeup bag!
The application of this product is a squeezey tube, which is very hygienic, and you can control the amount you want without wasting any product.

This product would be amazing for people with oily/combination/normal skin.
My skin at the moment is quite normal, but I've got a feeling that it will even look nice on dehydrated skin, just make sure to moisturise very well before hand and exfoliate twice a week.

In the picture below, L'Oreal have written a brief overview of their product, and I couldn't agree more with them, their words are my exact thoughts and feelings of this foundation.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

My thoughts: This foundation will always be my go-to-dewy-foundation. I've been using this product straight for nearly half a year, and I still love it. I love the coverage it gives, whilst still looking natural.

The look/feel of this product: This product gives a natural glow to this skin whilst offering medium/buildable coverage. It feels very light on the skin and it makes the skin look like skin but with a lot more radiance and life to it.
There are eight shades to this foundation, so again, they're quite limited to people's skin types.
There is a fruity scent to this foundation, it smells really amazing.

The packaging: The foundation is displayed in a glass bottle, which has a pump - however glass bottles are never really practical for travelling, but I've never had an incident with this bottle when I've traveled, so it's all good!
The pump is also really great as it's hygienic and it also pumps out the right amount, not too much nor too little - the pump is very easy to control (unlike the MAC Prolongwear Concealer pump.)

This product would be fantastic for people who have dry/dehydrated/normal skin. It will just add a bit of life back into your skin, whilst giving a good amount of coverage.

Review: Lorac Mega Pro Palette

Hello everyone! I recently posted a picture on my Instagram of a palette that I recently bought from Lorac, and of course I'm going to be doing a review on it! In the UK this palette can vary from £20-£200, it's quite crazy actually! You just have to find a good seller.

As you can see, there is a huge range of cool and warm toned eyeshadows. The first two rows of eyeshadows are all mattes. And the last two rows vary from shimmer and satin shadows.

- Great pigmentation
- Very creamy
- The colours blend out easily and seamlessly
- Good variety of shades, you can do a day or night makeup look with this palette
- The packaging is very sleek and thin, so it's easy to travel with

- Too many white and black shades
- I am disappointed with the shade "DEEP TEAL" & "INDIGO" as they come out as more of a black colour than what the name actually says.

~First Row~

~Second Row~

~Third Row~

~Fourth Row~

The only downside to this palette would be that I wished that the shade "DEEP TEAL" had more green in it in oppose to black. I also would say that the shade "INDIGO" looks like such a stunning shade, but in my swatch you can't even see the glitters, which is a shame because it has a range of blue and purple glitters, and in the swatch it just looks black.
Overall, I would recommend this palette, as there are some really unique and beautiful colours and the pigmentation and quality is spot on! I would really recommend this palette for makeup artists as it's such a great product to have in your kit, as it saves a lot of space and you do also have a great range of shades! The colours also blend out really quickly and beautifully, so it would save you a lot of time and blending whilst you're on set/working on a client.
