The Best Skin Illuminizers

If you love dewy and glowy looking skin, then this blog post will hopefully help you out a lot! I honestly love the look of glowy skin, I think it's so gorgeous - and whenever I apply makeup to my skin, my aim is always to have healthy, dewy looking skin. This year, I have come across quite a few different products for achieving glowy skin, so I thought I would share with you my top five drugstore and high-end products to achieve dewy skin!

Nars Illuminator "Copacabana" ~ L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer ~ Revlon Photoready Skinlights "100 Bare Light" ~ Superdrug Vitamin E Radiance Moisture Cream ~ MAC Strobe Cream

Reviews

Nars "Copacabana" Illuminator -  £22.50 Selfridges - This illuminator has very fine, silver glitters in it. It's quite a pearlescent illuminator. However if you have quite dry skin, they can sometimes cling to the dry areas.

L'Oreal Lumi Maguque Primer - £9.99 BootsThis is a very raved about product. It is usually compared to the MAC Strobe Cream, but as a cheaper alternative. This primer has no glitters in it what-so-ever, it has a more metallic sheen to it, as you will be able to see in the pictures below.

Revlon Skinlights "100 Bare Light" - £11.99 Boots - This illuminator comes in four different colours, suited for different skin coours. The one that I have "Bare Light" is more of a bronzey illuminator, so it adds a bit of colour to your skin. I personally like to apply this before my foundation. Or you can apply it to your cheekbones after foundation application.

Superdrug Vitamin E Radiance Moisture Cream - £2.99 - This illuminator is actually a moisturiser as well. This product first applies to your skin as a moisturiser, but as it develops into your skin, the illumination pigments begin to show through. There are also fine and very few glitters in this product. You can also see that this illuminator isn't as dramatic as the others, it's more subtle.

MAC Strobe Cream - £24.50 - In the pictures below, you can see how similar this product is to the L'Oreal Lumi Magique primer. I do find this product very moisturising and it also makes my foundation apply a lot nicer than when I don't use it. It makes my skin look lovely and smooth - and also very glowy.

I hope this blog post helped you out!
